Data processed and purposes

  • Quote, contact and furnishing / home staging requests: name, email, phone, town or postcode, information about your project, message and, if you attach them, photos. Purpose: to answer your request and prepare a quote.
  • Orders: identification data, delivery and billing address, correspondence about the order. Purpose: performing the order, delivery, invoicing and after-sales service.
  • Email or WhatsApp correspondence: the information you choose to send us.

Legal bases

Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); compliance with our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Recipients

Your data are never sold or passed on. They are accessible only to BOBO & CHIC and to strictly necessary service providers: website hosting and form handling (Netlify, Inc.), email (Google), WhatsApp if you choose that channel and, for an order, the manufacturer and the carrier, limited to the information needed for delivery. Some of these providers are based in the United States; transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (EU–US adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

Retention

Requests that do not lead to an order: 12 months at most after the last exchange, so that your project can be resumed or a question about the quote answered, then deleted. Order-related data: for the duration of the business relationship, then for the applicable legal periods (6 years for accounting books and records under Art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code; 4 years for tax obligations).

Your favourites, your quote selection and your preferred language are stored only in your browser (local storage); they are not sent to us. See the cookie policy.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to boboandchic@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
